Stew's Fit Blog

It has been an awful long time since I've been on this website.  Furthermore, its also been a long time since I've worked out.  I turned over a new leaf for 2008 which started today.  I took my fat butt back to the gym this morning and will continue to do so three to four times a week the year of 2008. The last 45 days have been horrible.  During this time I amassed a weight gain of 15 pounds and have balloned back up to 242 pounds.  I will most definitely reach my goal of 200 pounds in 2008.


Also in the resolution list is to pay closer attention to my diet and try to eat the right things.  Although I did a great job of documenting my diet last year, looking back at it; I ate a lot of unhealthy things.  This year I will concentrate on eating more fruits and vegetables and less pastries and desserts.

Still working hard on home repairs.  I'm getting the house ready for holiday visitors.  I''ve dug myself in a hole.  I hope to have everything done before my out of town guests arrive for the holidays.

Still decorating the house and have found no time for exercising. :-(  I am determined to get back at it but will most likely not be able to do anything until Saturday.  I will try tomorrow night.

I haven't done anything yet but it's only 1923.  I just finished dinner and if I'm feeling OK by 8:00 PM I will go to my fitness center. If not I will give it a miss.  My back is killing me....I've always had back problems and spending two hours practicing basketball with my daughter last night made my problem even worse.

Well, its 1510 in the afternoon and I'm still at work.  Yesterday was a big step towards me getting back to my fitness routines.  I will definitely do something tonight and at least 4 other times this week.

I'M BACK!!!!!!!   This morning I took myself down to my local 24 Hour Fitness Center and over 45 minutes of cardio; burning well over 800 calories!!!!!  It felt really good to get back into the gym after a 3-week absence.  It is also amazing how much out of shape you can get in three weeks!  I am tired!!!


Some way, some how, I will incorporate fitness back into my lifestyle.  I am hella busy with my daughters high school basketball activities but I will find a way!

Last month was horrible!  I missed at least 17 days working out.  This is horrible!  I will make a better attempt this month.
