Well, I did not go to the gym as planned last night.  I got dressed, watch the rest of the USC game and fell asleep shortly thereafter.  I am so disappointed in myself.  I was about 100 calories short of my weekly goal which is the second time that I have missed it.

Tonight I'm definitely going to do cardio work; as much as I possibly can!

I had a good workout Friday night.  I was able to work my legs with weight training and did 40 minutes of cardio.  Today I'm getting a later than usual start for a Saturday but sometime between 9:00 and 10:00 PM tonight I plan to do 45 - 60 minutes of cardio.  But until then, its back to college football!!

Although my start was later than I wanted, I managed to go to my fitness center last night and got in a great workout!  I worked my favorite body parts; chest, biceps, and shoulders.  I am extremely sore and it felt as if I couldn't lift as much last night.

I hope to be in the gym by 1830 tonight; I will do cardio and weight training; working my legs!  I look forward to it because I ate like a pig today.

I finally went to the gym last night!!!!  I definitely wanted to burn as many calories and possible so I did cardio until I couldn't anymore.  I managed to do 50 minutes and burn 1020 calories.  I had no energy to do weight training afterwards.  Tonight, although I will get a later start that I like, I will do weight training and cardio tonight; even if I only do 15 minutes of cardio.

Last night there was a 5% chance that I might have went to the gym; thankfully I'm not a gambler because I didn't!  Yet another night wasted.  Well, maybe wasted is too strong of a word.  I have been very busy at work this week averaging 13 hour days.  Honestly I'm just too tired to workout.   That along with my hour earlier arrival, I'm just tood tired.  Hey after reading that it sounded just like an excuse which I swore I would no longer give.

Tonight I am definitely going, no matter what!  I am on target to do cardio and weight training; however I will definitely do 45 minutes of cardio...if I still have the energy, I will try working my chest, biceps, and shoulders.

I missed yesterday's work as i figured but even worse, it is 8:46 PST and it looks as if I'm going to miss the gym for my third consecutive day.  I have excuses but they are not justified in this case.  I will most definitely go everyday for the remainder of the week.  No excuses.

For the first time since I can remember I did not workout of  a Sunday.  Sunday is normally my catch up day and I get a lot of gym work done to start the week.  Yesterday I didn't.  I definitely wasn't motivated.  Tonight it appears that I will not make it to the gym either.  I worked a 12-hour day today and I am really tired, plus the last time I went to the gym at this time there was a wait for the equipment.

I will try again tomorrow.

Yesterday's workout was uneventful.   Cardio was on the schedule for the day and I could only get 45 minutes done.  I must admit that it was fun as there were three college football games and Sports Center within my viewing range!  Oh, did I tell you that I am a huge football fan??

It is around 7:16 Sunday and I haven't made it to the gym yet.  I do plan on going however I will most likely not be able to do both cardio and weight training....I guess I will pick my poision...

My experience in the gym yesterday evening was interesting.  I had the day off and as oppose to going early or mid morning to get it over with, I talked myself into going later in the day.  Bad move!  As the day lingered on, I became less motivated.  At around 5:30 when my peeps returned home from work and school, I decided it was now or never.  After arriving I knew that I needed to do some cardio before I went to work my legs so I could only muster 15 minutes initially.  I almost talked myself out of doing legs on Friday and to just do them on Saturday....I'm glad I didn't.  I worked them really hard for about 55 minutes and then I attempted to do another 15 mintues of cardio.....believe it or not I was able to do another 25 minutes....  It turned out to be a great workout!

I did make it to the gym last night but it was an absolute struggle to get there.  My motivation isn't great as it should be, especially since the weight loss is no longer occurring.  Nethertheless, I went and worked my back, triceps, forearms, and abs.  I do abs during every weight training session which equates to 3 times a week.

Today I will be in the gym by 6:00 PM.  I working legs and doing cardio.  Since it will be slow tonight at my fitness facility I may attempt to do 45 mintues of cardio total.  We'll see!

I finally made it to the gym.  I set out to do 60 minutes of cardio and was successful.  Forty-five minutes was on the Cross-Trainer and the last 15 minutes was on the Stair Master.  A good workout indeed; where I burned over 1,000 calories.

Tonight I get to work my least favorite body parts; back, tricpes, and forearms.  If they would ever respond to all this hard work I wouldn't feel so bad about working.    I will also attempt to do minimum 30 minutes of cardio also.

Yesterday was yet another lazy day for me.  I did not have the energy to go to the gym; however I did take my dog on a 15 minute run.  This served two purposes; it gave me an activity to write about in my Blog and it have my "Sugar" some much needed exercise also.

Tonight, come hell or highwater; I will go to my gym!  Tonight should be cardio and weight training; however I will attempt to do 60 minutes of cardio.  I need to burn calories in the worst way!

I went into my local fitness facility last night and it was full to the max!!  There is over 150 pieces of cardio equipment and all of it was full.  I waited 15 minutes but to no avail...I decided; trick this!  Drove back home and did something I absolutely hate--running!  Considering I'm not road worthy yet, I only ran for 15 minutes.  I was extremely exhausted afterwards and really hope that my 24 Hour Fitness is never that busy again!!!!

Late yesterday evening I finally managed to get into the gym.  I was putting it off as I knew I had to do both weight and cardio training; so when the score of the final game got out of hand, I headed to my local facility.  Spent an hour in the weight room and 30 minutes on cardio.

This week I will make a conscious effort to watch what I eat and spend more time in the gym, especially on the cardio equipment.  My weight hasn't changed in two months although I am doing exactly as I did (with the exception of weight training) when I lost over 40 pounds.  It will be tough tonight as my Fitness Center is super busy on Mondays.  I will go between 9:00 - 9:30 PM.

Early yesterday morning I accomplished weight training; working my extremely hard leg routine.  I worked them especially hard considering I had an engagement with my daughters and I would be left to complete my cardio routine Saturday night..... At around 8:30 last night when all the football college football had concluded, I went to the gym and put in 45 minutes on the Arc Trainer/Cross-Trainer.  I did reach and exceed my weekly calorie burned goal but I'm no longer realizing any weight loss.  Hopefully with all the weight lifting that I have been doing over the past 2 months I'm not loosing weight due to muscle gain and fat loss.

Tonight I'm going to the gym to work my biceps, chest, and shoulders.  This is my favorite muscle group to work as its the most visible.  I am also planning to do at least 30 minutes of cardio.  I wish I had done it earlier this morning as I'm not very motivated now.

Man, oh Man.  At around 8:30 last night I got dressed for the gym and decided to rest for 30 minutes and go at round 9:00 PM.  NOT!!!  While resting, during my best estimate, at 8:45 I was asleep!  When I awoke, it was 1:22 AM.  LOL!!!  Obviously I did not make it to the gym.  I am around 900 burned calories short from my weekly fitness goal of 3500 calories.  I have a date with my daughters today but afterwards I see no reason which I should be able to go to the gym and meet my weekly goal.

I had a decent workout last night.  I did 30 minutes of cardio and weight training for 50 minutes.  I worked back, triceps, and forearms.  My arms are pretty sore today which normally means that I pushed myself and will soon realize some gains.

Tonight I'm up for cardio and leg training.  I will have to do cardio first because I really, really work my legs hard.  Since starting my resistance training my legs have responded most.  Too bad I can't wear shorts to work. :-)

Well, I got off my tukus last night and burned 1,027 calories on the Arc Trainer/Cross-Trainer machine.  It was rather enjoyable and went by fast as I had an opportunity to view a television program which I enjoyed.  By the time I checked the time there was only 5 minutes remaining in the workout.

Tonight its cardio and weight training.  Back, triceps, and forearms.  Not my favorite body parts to work but they I know I can't just work the bicep and chest.

Well, I did nothing last night either....enough is enough.  Those were my two days off for the week; now its time for some serious exercising. :-)  Tonight it's weight training and cardio.  I may just do cardio alone and try to do at least 60 minutes.  Tomorrow night I will catch up with my weight training.

Well, I got pretty comfortable last night and did absolutely nothing but veg out on football.  I need to do something tonight but I will most likely do nothing.  Over the past two weeks I've taken two days in a row off and this week I may do the same thing.  It's only 8:30 PM though, I may change my mind.

Yesterday's workout was interesting; my 14 year old daughter accompanied me.  This was her first time in this facility so I sort of showed her the ropes and keep an eye out on her.  I did manage to work my chest, biceps, and shoulders; albeit it was very hurried.  I additionally did 25 minutes of cardio.

I'm not sure what's going to happen tonight.  It is 8:00 PM, I just finished dinner, and football is on.  More than likely I will give the gym a miss tonight.  We'll see!

Yesterday was an easy day; only cardio needed to be done as opposed to both cardio and weight training.  I managed to get in a 45 minute session; 30 minutes on the cross trainer and 15 minutes on the stair master.  I ended the workout with over 815 calories burned.  I needed it; my diet is not appropriate.  I am not very disciplined where food is concerned.  One day I'll eat right; the next I won't.  I wish it was easy!

I'm not sure what's going on but my Fit Blogs for the 6th and 7th were never recorded??????  I was wondering why my e-Fit points was so low; now I know why!  In any case I will try to get you caught up for the days that was not saved.

6th August:  After taking the 4th and 5th off, I went back to the gym Thursday.  I accomplished both weight and cardio training....I worked back, triceps, and forearms; and 40 minutes on the cross-trainer.

7th August:  I did not go to work until 1000 yesterday morning so I went to the gym earlier that morning.  Again it was weight and cardio training.  I first did 30 minutes on the cross-trainer and finished with my painful leg workout.  During this workout I work the calfs, quads, hamstrings, hips, and buttock area.  I felt good afterwards; but pretty sore.

I did absolutely nothing last night but watch TV and drank cold water with ice!  Its beginning to cool off in SoCal and I welcomed and enjoyed the slightly cooler weather.  I need to hit the gym tonight as I have weight training and cardio training to accomplish.  I don't know????  I will take two days off this week and the second day may be tonight!!!!

I worked out yesterday!  Normally on major holidays (where my BBQ is involved), I never work out....yesterday was a different story.  I was up by 0600 and at the gym by 0700.  By 0830 I was back and home basting my ribs!  Yesterday was a lot of fun although too hot for my liking...

My next challenge is to try and make it out tonight.  It probably won't happen though as I feel I need a rest....I'll let you know soonest.

It is unseasonally hot in Southern California!  With tempertures like these; it is extremely hard to workout.  Nether-the-less, I did manage to crank out 1002 calories yesterday; leaving me about 200 calories shy of my weekly goal.  This is the first exercise goal that I've missed since March!  Like I said, it is tough going out in the heat.

Today I also managed to go to the gym; working biceps, chest, and shoulder...also throwing 30 minutes of cardio in there.  I accomplished the cardio first as I knew I wouldn't have been able to do it if I had did weight training first.  During this 1 1/2 hour session I drank 96 ounces of water.....but believe me, I needed it all!  Tomorrow (Labor Day) I plan to get an early start in the gym; doing cardio only.  This will give me the remainder of the morning to get my grills fired up.   Happy Labor Day everyone!

I over did it last night!  My calfs, quads, and hamstrings are screaming from all the torture that I put them through; but it is a good feeling of pain. Along with my weight training I managed to squeeze in 46 minutes of cardio which really helped me burn lots of calories.  As it stands now, I am only 1,073 calories away from my weekly goal.  That's only 60 minutes on the cross-trainer.  I should be able to reach this considering I have the entire day.  It is 0740, Saturday morning and I am dressed and on my way to the gym.  I will let you know tomorrow how things turn out.
